Cleaning by calendar can be too much or too little

Treat different roof zones differently
Panels near roads, construction or kitchen exhaust may soil faster than panels elsewhere on the same venue. Compare zones instead of assuming the whole array behaves the same way. A performance baseline helps show whether the loss is persistent or just weather noise.
Include the real cost of access
The cleaning decision should include lifts, escorts, roof permits and event restrictions as well as labour. On a stadium, access can cost more than the cleaning itself.
Check whether cleaning actually helped
